Computer, Dual DJ CD player, Wireless Microphones and the Booth
My main source of music is from a Toshiba Laptop running PCDJ FX and the backup computer running PCDJ RED. Way too many features to list. Each computer has all styles of music from 1923 to todays current hits.
The Pyle Pro PDCD 210 professional CD player is used strictly as a back-up music source, although some deejays use it as a main music source. Again, like PCDJ Red, it has too many features to list but a couple are quick start at .05 seconds, instant cue, intro and outro at 15 seconds each and scratch ability, and beat/tempo adjust.
The PylePro PDWM2600 is a UHF dual wireless microphone system with a 200 foot range and crystal clear sound, both microphones can be used at the same time.
Here are a few shots of how the DJ booth is set up. You can see the laptop and the new UHF wireless mike system and the backup hard wired mike. The amp and dual cd player are located below while all controllers are located within easy reach. In front of the laptop are the fast lightshow control system, the slow light control system and the dual cd controller.
The Laptop runs PCDJFX, the very best DJ mp3 mixing software on the planet as far as I'm concerned. I've tried just about all of them and have to say this is the best! On the right are the UHF wireless mike receiver (2 mikes) and the mixer (don't let all the buttons and switches fool you...I think I can make it work)...whats that thingy do...WHOA!
